In Echoes of Self, 1dontknows presents a series of portraits that resist definition. These are not faces, but presences. Bodies caught in ritualistic gestures, immersed in a suspended space where time seems to hold its breath. Each figure is a visual riddle: devoid of gaze, yet filled with inner resonance. Faithful to his hybrid language of classicism and surrealism, the artist draws from dreams and the subconscious. His collages are not mere juxtapositions, but visual rituals, where fragments of reality, books, moons, keys, hands, flowers, become symbols of a lost language, perhaps never spoken, that speaks directly to the inner self.

For 1dontknows, the self is never whole. It is a body that remembers, an absence that vibrates. His art becomes a fogged mirror, not reflecting who we are, but what we’ve lost along the way.
